Dark Room

In a dark room I seated in front of my laptop typing,
Words that just popped up in my mind,
Mind full thoughts, thoughts that wanted to be released,
Out of this skull and skin into the thin air..

It’s been months I haven’t seen that clear blue sky,
That’s how long I have been seated here in the dark room,
Like a broken bulb waiting for someone to come,
Come and fix me and turn me on once more,
To shine not as bright as the stars in the night,
nor as a sun in the middle of a clear summer day,
but as a bulb that serve a purpose,
a specific purpose, to light the dark room,
a dark room where I have been seated for quite some time,
Waiting for you to come, fix me, and turn me on once more...
